The Good Shepherd Sustainable Learning Foundation (GSSLF) is a 501(c)(3) organization headquartered in Milford, Pennsylvania. The mission of GSSLF is to promote access to education in Cameroon in a safe environment that prepares students to build lives of economic and environmental sustainability. The first project of GSSL Foundation is to build Good Shepherd Academy in Bafut, Cameroon; to educate students through a process of sustainable learning; and to provide free tuition to orphans of the AIDS pandemic.

GSSLF is responding in part to the United Nations Global Education First Initiative, which focuses on secondary school education. GSSLF knows that education in developing nations helps reestablish a normal life-style for traumatized children, opens doors to the local job market, improves maternal health and environmental solutions and promotes tolerance and mutual understanding in the local community.
